Well what a fucking awesome weekend I actually don't think I can put it into words how awesome it was! We got down there about 1pm and set up camp and sunk a few.. put the fruit and juice in the chilly bin full of ice and poured a bottle of vodka and wine in the bottom which would become punch (you couldn't take alcohol in)

So we got in sweet as and sat in the sun drinking punch listening to some awesome local bands and then a few hours later feeling a little buzzed headed back to camp to drop off the chilly and got back in time to see my 2 favourites of the night Kora and The Black Seeds. We were dancing in the front row it was awesome everyone was in such a chilled mood it was just beautiful the seeds were last on and played for a solid 2 and half..

Totally the best concert I have been to in a while everyone was chilled no-one was agro and just there for the music!

Rain!

Honestly the world hates me, or.. just loves to rain on me!
So i was running a little late (only by a few hours) and it was sweet when I walked out the door looking respectable and work is only 10 minutes down the road but the heavens opened up half way and I got drenched.. I still look like a drowned rat. Heres hoping it clears up for tommorrow for the Dub concert and camping..

My car has given up.. everytime I have needed to use it I need a jumpstart.. the funny thing is the battery is only 3 months old and the alternator has been tested and is charging fine..
its just getting ridculous.. on a more positive note it was another beautiful morning not a cloud in the sky and it was just so blue, it just makes you wanna get up in the morning

A day of festivities..

There were many things to celebrate yesterday (I am a little slow on the post).
HAPPY Birthday Bob Marley who would have been 62 I believe, definately an influentual musican in my eyes.

This is also Waitangi day here in New Zealand. Today is the day that the 'Treaty of Waitangi was signed and is generally considered the founding point of New Zealand as a nation. And a very Happy Birfday to a friend of mine that turned 30 yesterday.. I am looking forward to your party :)

This week is dragging its feet..
coming off a long weekend is always hard.. but this weekend coming is a longy as well not technically but im taking the monday off so it is..

Here's hoping the weather delightfully summer-y..

the picture does really have a lot to do with anything but I love the colours and the re-fractions of light through the glass.. hmm.. now i feel like a nice cold beer.. damn you work!
