New Tunes for a wet & not so wet weekend

We did some shopping on the weekend & I stumbled upon this incredible album! Its magic I bought it with the intention of sending it to Trace for Christmas.. lets just say she isn't getting this copy I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it!

We woke to a huge amount of water covering most of the farm on Saturday morning.. the bottom paddocks were completely underwater & you could only see the guardrail for the bridge so needless to say we were flooded in & hoping that a log wasn't going to take out the bridge.. Or we would be kinda stuck! It only took a few hours for the water to go down.

I have just bought tickets to Fat Freddys at Coroglen! YAY!
I'm so excited.. now its just a matter of sorting out where to for New Years & what other gigs we need tickets to.. hmmm

I had an AWESOME weekend.. Saturday was Jarrod & Aimee's wedding, it was waaay cute & really good to catch up with the family & after many a few drinks and night crept in.. I made my way to Kylie's birhtday drinks & to catch up with Nat & Stu - who had just arrived back in the country after a lonng 10 months away..
IT WAS JUST...YAY!

A day with Bam-bam

I moved over te weekend - it went smoothly, a little more smoothly than normal to be honest.
I did however sprain my shoulder which isn't much fun at all. So I spent yesterday at home with this little fellow Riley.. affectionately know as Bam-bam.. we played lots.

It smells like summer today

Its getting more & more summer-like & I like it!

I feel good.. I'm still a touch on the tired side but that is partly to do with the time of the year as well, every weekend for the next month or so is booked up. I move out to the farm in 9 days (putting it like that is terrifying!) I really need to start packing.

Long weekend

I had a magic long weekend/short week travelling around the country with my girl.
We stayed 2 nights at Wai-iti beach resort, our french doors opened out onto the beach it was incredible. We continued down the West coast for 6hrs to Wellington.

Hung out in the capital with John & Renee and Jeremy & Casey & my little sister. Ate, drunk & watched the Wellington Pheonix destroy Gold Coast 5-nil at the Caketin.

On the Moday we started our trip North again following the East Coast this time & 7hrs later we arrived at Mahia & our cute little bach.

It was an awesome relaxing weekend.. so much so I didn't want to come back to work

I have 4hrs 40mins til my long weekend starts & when I say long weekend I mean a 5 day weekend.
I'm excited & can't wait to just get away

Stuff

Things have been a little craxy the last few weeks which is why there has been a lack of posts on my part. A good friend of mine passed away almost 2 weeks ago after a courageous battle.

Saturday was a busy day.. Yonng Ruby turned 1, Adam & Kita had their combined 21st and me & pocket got an EPIC bout of food poisoning on Saturday night - today is thursday & I have only started eating again.. YUCK I don't think I'll ever eat Thai again.
